Obituary of Richard L. Hoag Albion: Richard L. Hoag age 74, died June 3, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital following a long battle with cancer. He was born May 31, 1939 in Albion a son of Glenn and Helen (Hughson) Hoag. Richard was a graduate of Albion High School and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Richard will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, smile, love of music, movies and his flower garden.
He was predeceased by his father Glenn. He is survived by his partner of 32 years, Tom Frederickson; his mother, Helen Hoag of Albion; sister, Ruby Budenhagen of Albion; brother, Kenneth (Margo) Hoag of AZ.; several nieces and nephews; dear friends Doris Bruski, Helen and Jim Cotter.
