Obituary of Richard A. Pahuta Elba: Richard A. Pahuta age 70, died August 4, 2012 at his home following a short illness. He was born December 27, 1941 in Batavia a son of the late Stephen & Jane (Mistal) Pahuta and had lived in this area all his life. Richard was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church. He worked for Patsy Vigneri & Sons in Elba for 55 years retiring in 2011. Richard enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family, especially his grandson Kyle. He was predeceased by his brothers, David and Stephen Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley, of 51 years; children, Richard of VA., John of Elba, Carol Viscuso of Byron; grandson, Kyle Pahuta; sister, Betty (Daniel) Geiger of Albion; aunt, Betty Nutting of Batavia; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins. Prayers will be said Wednesday at 9:00 at the Funeral Home, followed by Richard's Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish at 9:30. Interment
