Obituary of Richard H. Thiel Richard Thiel Died peacefully at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital in Newark, New York on November 29, 2012 after a long illness.
Mr. Thiel was born in the Town of Yates on October 28, 1932 son of the late Maurice and Dorothy (Deeter) Thiel.
While living most of his life in the Newark-Lyons area, he was known for his friendliness and being a trickster.
Brother of Ruth A. Montague of Lyndonville, Betty (Terry) Leonard of Medina and Ruby Sweeney of Gasport.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and stepsisters and a stepbrother.
He is also survivied by special freinds Stan and Joanne Beers of Ovid, NY. They gave him so much love and took him to their home.
There will be no prior visitation.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with Burial will be in West Ridgeway Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to any animal shelter.
