Obituary of Rita F. Sonnenberg Rita F. Sonnenberg, age 85, entered into rest on Friday, July 1, 2016. Born February 28, 1931 in Buffalo, Rita is the daughter of Stanley and Frances (Krytus) Winiarczyk. Loving mother of: Sandra (Joseph) Provino Jr., Ronald (Joanne) Sonnenberg, and June (Donald) Booth. Cherished Grandmother of: Joseph Provino III, Kari (Daniel) Heidemann Jr., John (Jennifer) Sonnenberg, Lisa Sonnenberg, Andrew Booth, and Michael (Cortney) Booth. Step Grandmother of: Joanne Whitney and Jennifer White. Loving Baba to: Nate, Abby, Nick, Ayda, Violet, Asher,Ryson and Arianna. Step great grandmother of: Brandon, Jason, Nathan, Anna Jane and Morgan. Sister of: Dorothy (the late Henry) Krajnik and the late Stella and Walter Richardson, Virginia and Adam Strug, Pearl and Joseph Even, Emily and Stanley Kacala, Adele and Stanley Kiec and Alice Winiarczyk. Sister-in-law of the late: Dolores and Edwin Sewastynowicz. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Rita was predeceased by her husband, Arthur J. Sonnenberg in 2003. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport on Sunday, July 3, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 11:00 am from Our Lady of the Lake (St. Patrick's Site) R.C. Church, 1726 Quaker Road, Barker, NY 14012.
