Obituary of Robert W. Burnett Robert W. “Bill” Burnett, age 69, of Lockport, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at his home. Born November 12, 1944 in Newfane, Robert is the son of the late Robert and Beatrice (Gray) Burnett. Robert married Nancy Hendley August 17, 1968. Mrs. Burnett died January 18, 2012. He had worked in shipping and receiving at Sherwood Selpac in Lockport. Robert was an exempt member of the Wrights Corners Fire Department. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and going on long walks and bike rides. Surviving is his loving daughter: Suzette M. (Dave) Bicker of Lockport. Dear grandfather of: Megan Burnett (Corey Voelker) of Lockport and great grandfather of: Katara. Brother of: Richard (Debbie) Burnett, Rodney (Diane) Burnett, James (Candace) Burnett and John (Elaine) Burnett all of Newfane. He was predeceased by a sister: Vicki Liddle. Several nieces and nephews also survive Robert. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the First Baptist Church of Newfane, 6047 East Avenue, Newfane, NY on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 11:00 am.
