Robert L. Carpenter

Obituary of Robert L. Carpenter Holley: Robert L. “Bob” Carpenter, age 66, passed away suddenly on December 4, 2019. He was born October 10, 1953 in Brockport to the late Stanley and Eleanor (McFarland) Carpenter and would remain in the Holley and Clarendon area his entire life. Bob served his country in the Navy during Vietnam from 1971-1973. He was a member of the VFW Post 202, the American Legion Post 529, and a past volunteer fireman at the Clarendon Volunteer Fire Co. Bob was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He had a great personality and was always happy. Spending time with his wife and family was his greatest joy in life. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Paula, children, Sean Carpenter, Orissa (Mike) Hill, John Carpenter, Matthew Carpenter, grandchildren, Tyler (Annie Jewell), McKenzie, Mason, Mazie, Julia, brothers, Skip (Cindy), Bill (Ann), Rusty (Mary), Paul (Kathy), several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Route 31, Holley, NY 14470 on Monday, December 9th from 1:00-3:00pm where a brief service followed by military honors will be held promptly at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob’s name may be made to the Orleans County Joint Veteran’s Council 13996 Route 31, Albion, NY 14411.
