Obituary of Robert Earl Engle Albion: Robert Earl Engle, 84, died September 12, 2016 at The Villages of Orleans. He was born October 30, 1931 in Harrisburg, PA. a son of the late James Howard and Grace Viola (Jewell) Engle. Bob was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church. He was a retiree of Pfaudler Co. in Rochester and a member of the United Steel Workers Union #1498. Bob enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, or any outside activity. He also loved singing and playing the harmonica.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Marian Phillips, John Engle, Lloyd Engle, Howard Engle, Richard Engle, William Engle, Ruth O’Hearn, grandson, Jason Raymond Post. Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janet; daughters, Deborah (Joe) Martillotta of Albion, Jacqueline Post of Albion, Robin (Garr) Standish of Elbridge; grandchildren, Luke Gaines, Kyle (Sonya) Gaines, Jennifer Post; great-grandchildren, Avery Gaines, Willow Gaines, Jackson Gaines, Rhoan Calkins, Tristan Post; siblings, Grace Monacelli of Albion, Walter (Linda) Engle of Elba, Don (Linda) Engle of Elba, Jane Pahuta of Kenyonville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue, Albion, Thursday from 11:00-1:00 followed by Bob’s Funeral Service at the Funeral Home at 1:00pm.
