Obituary of Robert K. Hicks Medina: Robert K. Hicks age 55, died January 28, 2014 at Orchard Manor Nursing Home following a long illness. He was born December 26, 1958 in Brockport a son of Richard and Shirley (Rich) Hicks. Bob enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, was a Brown Belt in Karate and was a former Boy Scout in Troop #85 in Brockport. He was a former employee of Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester.
He was predeceased by his father, Richard Hicks. He is survived by his mother, Shirley of Medina; siblings, Dan (Debra) Hicks of Hamlin, Donna (Jimmy) Tarte of SC., Richard Hicks of AZ., Nancy (Fred) Pettyjohn of WY; Aunts and Uncles, June (Russ) Doud of Barre, Terry (Maryellen) Rich of Brockport, Rose Rich of Brockport, Fred Rich of VT; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins.
No prior calling hours. Bob's Memorial Service will be held at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion Thursday 2/6/14 at 11:00am. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Plaines Dialysis Center, 200 Ohio St. Medina, NY 14103 or the American Kidney Foundation. Services
