Obituary of Robert J. Leslie (ALBION) Robert J. Leslie, age 85, died September 12, 2021 in the Premier Genesee Center of Batavia following a short illness. He was born April 19, 1936 in Albion and had been a life-long resident of this area. Bob was a former member of the Albion Fire Department participating on the Fireflies Drill Team and as a member of the Fire Police. He enjoyed listening to Country Music and enjoying classic cars. As a very social and happy person, Bob was always smiling and would talk to anybody about anything at any time. Mr. Leslie was predeceased by his wife Clara, and sisters: Lenore Scharping and Penny O’Brien. He is survived by his children: Diane Leslie of Albion, Terry Leslie of Albion, Gary (Mona) Leslie of Albion, Tammie (Greg) Mullaney of Lockport, Danny Leslie of CO, his sister: Candy (David) Allen of Sanborn, 2 grandchildren: Ashley and David Leslie, two great-grandchildren: AnnaLee and Richie Janus as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Bob’s Memorial Service at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Avenue-Albion, WEDNESDAY (9/22/21) beginning at 11am.
