Robert J. Mason

Obituary of Robert J. Mason Canandaigua: Robert J. Mason age 84, died December 21, at Thompson Health. He was born November 12, 1930 in Buffalo NY a son of the late Walter and Irene (Ridgeway) Mason. Bob served his country in the US Navy and US Air Force from 1948-1952. He owned and operated Mason's Diesel Service in Rochester for 25 years and was known as one of the best Diesel mechanics in the area. He was a former member of Ira Jacobson American Legion post 474.
He was predeceased by his wife Irma. He is survived by his children, Guy (Cindy) Mason of Brockport, Scott (Lisa Collura) Mason of Spencerport; grandchildren, Bethanie, Ashleigh, Heidi; great grandson, Connor.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rte. 31, HOLLEY, Friday 12/26, from 4:00-7:00 only. Interment will be in Bath National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675. Visitation
