Obituary of Robert E. Rockwood Robert E. Rockwood, age 81, of Appleton, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport. Born May 18, 1935 in Greece, NY, Robert is the son of the late: Elmer and Mildred Rockwood Jr. Robert worked as an 18 wheeler truck driver for most of his life. He was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He married Marilyn Potter October 20, 1983 at the Temple in Washington D.C. Robert enjoyed wood working, gardening and he loved all animals. He also enjoyed cutting and splitting his own firewood. Surviving Robert is his loving wife: Marilyn (Potter) Rockwood. Dear father of: Cheryl Werner, Lynn Santiago and Ellen Hicks. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 6339 Hamm Road, Lockport, NY from 10 am until 11 am.
