Obituary of Robert J. Thiel Albion: Robert “Bob” J. Thiel, age 55, passed away suddenly on December 2, 2017 at his home. He was born locally on April 1, 1962 to Robert W. and Jean Thiel and would live in the area his whole life. Bob was a talented carpenter and outdoor enthusiast. Bob owned and operated B&C Landscaping for many years. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his faithful dog, Zeus. Robert was predeceased by his father Robert W. Thiel. He is survived by his mother, Jean (Draper) Thiel, his daughter, Alicia Thiel and her long-time boyfriend Tom Flower, daughter, Brandi
(Fiancée Braeden Beutel) Adams, sister, Sharon Thiel-Corey, grandchildren Braelyn Beutel, Briella Beutel, “adopted daughter” Erin Reagan as well as many other friends and family. Bob was known as a man about town, but will be especially mourned by those touched by his kind and giving heart, and will be deeply missed by those closest to him. The family will receive well-wishers and friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion on Saturday, December 9th from 1:00-3:00pm where his service will follow at 3:00pm.
