Obituary of Robert S. Tillman Robert S. Tillman age 82, died November 12, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. He was born September 13, 1929 in Rochester NY a son of the late Samuel & Mary (Vincent) Tillman. Bob was a member and Eucharistic Minister of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church, served on the Parish Council and helped on many fund raisers for St. Joseph's School. He was also a former Boy Scout leader in Carlton and a religious counselor for Troop 164 for which he received the Saint George Award. He served in the US Navy on the USS Barton during the Korean War and was a member of the Sheret Post #35 American Legion. Bob and his wife Mary Ann owned and operated the Carlton Grill from 1955-1967, he then went to work for Eastman Kodak Co., retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Albion Council #1330 Knights of Columbus and the St. Joan of Arc 4th Degree where he was past Faithful Navigator. He was a life member of the Carlton Fire Co. Bob and Mary Ann wintered in Myrtle Beach and was President of the Golf Senior League for 17 years.
