Obituary of Robert A. Wyant Robert A. Wyant father, grandfather and friend passed away January 19, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born in Ovapa, WV February 4, 1940 the beloved son of Mary Katherine “Kitty” and Conard Wyant. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sons Larry and Ronnie and his siblings. He is survived by his children Randy (Janice), Kevin, Culey (Heidi), Homer (Rachael), Leslie (Lisa), Jeremy, Kim; his ex-wives Sharon (Jeremy) Coen and Funice Wyant as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rob was a soft spoken man that loved to spend time in the great outdoors fishing, camping and tinkering on his cars. Even though Rob was a double amputee for many years he still managed to light up a room with his smile. Since suffering a debilitating stroke many years ago we have missed his smile and his stories of yesteryear. His weary hours and days of pain, his troubled nights are past and in our aching hearts we know he has found sweet rest at last. There are no prior services. Scattering of his ashes will take place at a future date in Ovapa, WV at the Wyant Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. Albion.
