Roberta E. Gillis

Obituary of Roberta E. Gillis 10/2/1942-5/2/2017 Went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2017, daughter of the late Walter and Ethel Mitton. Beloved wife of the late William G. Gillis, they were married on June 30, 1962 and enjoyed nearly 55 years together.
Survived by her children William Gillis Jr., Robert (Elizabeth) Gillis, Karin Hayes, Mark Gillis, Kim Sample, Neil Gillis, grandchildren Brendan Hayes, Shelby Hayes, Rebecca Gillis, and Brittany Sample, and great-grand daughter Sadie Dymond.
Sister of Leslie (Mary) Mitton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son Randy Gillis, her grandchildren Katrina Sample and Justin Hayes, and siblings Linda Allen, Walter Mitton and Judy Church.
The family will be present on Saturday at the Bates Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport from 3:00 to 5:00pm to receive friends. A funeral service will be held at 5:00pm. If desired memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
