Obituary of Roger Lee Brown (Waterport) Roger Lee Brown went home on April 2nd, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born in Clay, West Virginia on December 20, 1948 to the late Omer and Edna Brown.
Roger was in the 25th Infantry of the United States Army and served as a Sergeant in Vietnam. During his service, he was awarded the Accommodation Medal, and Infantry Badge as well as the Bronze Star Medal. He will be missed for his great sense of humor and his endearing love for teasing his family members.
Roger was predeceased by his wives, Annabelle and Candice as well as his brothers Ricky Brown and Daryll Brown. He is survived by his sisters, Erma (Dencil) Weese of Waterport, Doris (Richard Jones) DeBoard of Waterport, Libby (Clarence) Cochran of West Virginia and his brothers James (Dianna) Brown of Ohio, Michael (Barbara) Brown of Medina and his step-daughters Carol and Cheryl. He was dearly loved by his grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Roger’s Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held at Mount Albion Cemetery on Saturday April 15th at 11am. Donation in Roger’s name may be made to Hospice of Orleans PO Box 489 Albion NY 14411.
