Obituary of Roger J. Kaniecki Roger J. Kaniecki age 74 died Thursday December 7, 2017 at the Martin Linsin Residence. He was born April 11, 1943 in Albion, a son of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Daniels) Kaniecki and had lived in this area all of his life. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and was a lifetime member of the St. Mary’s Athletic Club and the Albion Elks Lodge B.P.O.E #1006. Roger worked for Lapp Insulator and retired from there after 37 years. He loved traveling with his wife Susan and they spent several winters traveling the West Coast together. He was predeceased by his wife Susan in 2010 and his brother Kenneth. Roger is survived by his brothers-in-law Richard Griffin, Donald Griffin, Fr. David Griffin; sisters-in-law Karen Hobson and Bonnie Kaniecki; beloved dog Katie as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion on Tuesday 4:00pm-8:00pm. His Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday at 10:00am at Holy Family Parish. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Holy Family Parish, 106 S. Main St. Albion NY 14411 or Hospice of Orleans, PO Box 489, Albion NY 14411.
