Obituary of Roger L. Misso Albion: Roger L. Misso, 78, passed away October 11, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Roger was born February 19, 1940 in Medina, NY a son of the late John and Atina (Pauline) Misso. Roger was a member, usher and greeter at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church and was also a member and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus St. Joan of Arc Assembly 4th Degree. Roger served his country in the United States Marine Corp. from 1959-1963. He was a former employee of Eastman Kodak Co. Roger enjoyed Cowboy Shoots, hunting and loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Roger was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. He is survived by Phyllis, his loving wife of 56 years; children, Sharon Miller, Roger (Sandra) Misso Jr., Patti (Jim) Doyle and Colleen (Jason) Lathrop; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Phil) Panek, Scott Miller, Roger (Christy) Misso III, Josh Misso, Erica (Matt) Gardner, Lindsey (Jeff) Rybicki, Serena Doyle, Brandon Doyle, Jillian Doyle, Cathleen Mastrodicasa, Jackson Lathrop; great-grandchildren, Amelia Ruth Misso, Carson James Gardner and Preston Alan Panek; sisters, Anna Piazza and Mildred Princiavelli; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion, Wednesday October 17, from 3:00-7:00. Roger’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church on Thursday at 10:00am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery with military honors.
