Obituary of Roger L. Pritchard (ALBION)
Roger L. Pritchard, age 73, passed peacefully from this life August 18, 2014 at The Villages of Orleans after a long illness. He was born January 18, 1941 in Lockport, NY the son of Leonard and Margaret Haley Pritchard and following his Military Service, was a lifetime resident of Orleans County. Roger served honorably in the United States Marine Corp from 1959 to 1963. He was a graduate of Lyndonville High School, Genesee Community College and furthered his studies at R.I.T. Roger was a long-term employee and retired from Rochester Products Division of General Motors. He was a talented artisan with a wry sense of humor who seemed able to do anything he set his mind to. He loved his family and had a special twinkle in his eye that was reserved for his grandchildren. Mr. Pritchard was predeceased by his parents: Leonard and Margaret, his wife Teri, and his brothers: Emmet and Leonard. He is survived by his daughter: Kim(Charles)Nesbitt, his son: Jon(Lisa)Pritchard, his brother: Russel(Carol)Pritchard, his sister: Jacqualine(Claudell)Grimes as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, FRIDAY 5-8 p.m. where Roger's Memorial Service will be held SATURDAY at 11 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Mount Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans. Visitation
