Obituary of Roland Powers Roland Powers, age 50, of Alden, entered into rest on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Sisters of Charity Hospital, St. Joseph’s Campus in Cheektowaga. Born December 26, 1961 in Jamestown, he was the son of Harriet Bauer and the late Cobert Powers. Roland was a graduate of Cassadaga Valley High School. He had worked for Perry’s Ice Cream in Akron for the last 7 years he had previously worked at Titan Development in Gasport. He is survived by his long time companion: Jody Stafford. Son of: Harriet (David) Bauer and the late Cobert Powers and his stepmother: Dorothy Powers. Brother of: Sandra Sims, Vanessa (Art) Harris, Sherry (Norm) DuBois, Kenneth (Jeanette) Powers, Star (Kent) Huth, Roxanne (John) Powers, Kevin Powers, Beth (Brian) Dooley and the late Charles Powers. Father to: Matthew Stafford. Step brother of: Robert Kimber, Richard (Donna) Kimber, Raymond (Rebecca) Kimber, David (Pat) Wheeler, William Wheeler, Bruce Wheeler and John Wheeler. Roland is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration at the Barker Fire Hall, 1660 Quaker Road, Barker on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 2 until 6 pm.
