Obituary of Ron Stern (Holley) Ron Stern age 49 died April 22, 2014. He was born March 17, 1965 in Rochester, a son of Herbert R. and Joan (Curtis) Stern, Jr. and had lived in this area all of his life. Ron owned and operated Old Barn and Repair in Holley and was known to be an exceptional contractor. He volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, football, but most of all he loved watching his children play sports. He was a loving father, husband and a caring son. He is survived by his wife Karen of 26 years; his children Rachel, Angela and Christopher Stern all of Holley; his brothers Raymond (Carol) Stern of Albion, James (Mitzy) Stern and David (Beth) Stern both of FL; his sister Mary Laughing Eyes of PA; his mother Joan Stern as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Route 31 (W. Albion Rd.) Holley Monday, April 28th 4:00pm-5:00pm followed by his Memorial Service at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his children.
