Obituary of Ronald Joseph Manliguis Ronald “Rocky” Manliguis, age 76, of Albion formerly of Hawaii passed away October 25, 2020. He was born September 22, 1944 in Pepeekeo, Hawaii to the late Estaquio and Perfecta (Figueroa) Manliguis and moved to the mainland in 1979. Rocky served his country in the U.S. Army from 1964-1967. He enjoyed woodworking and cooking and was known for his brown rice and pasteles. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by several of his siblings. Rocky is survived by his loving wife and partner of 49 years, Linda, children, Melissa (Verne) Paddock, John (Sheila) Manliguis, Bryan Manliguis, Robin Manliguis, Kelli-Ann (John) Norman, Joseph “Joey” (Sandra) Manliguis, Ronald Manliguis Jr., Kristi (Chad) LaBarge, 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, siblings, Eileen Kagawa, Albert (late Grace) Manliguis and Calvin Manliguis. Rocky’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Thursday, October 29th from 10:00-11:00am. Interment will be held in Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY. Please note the Funeral Home will be operating at 33% capacity per state guidelines.
