Obituary of Ronald Kenneth Newman Sr. Ronald Kenneth Newman Sr., age 77 of Middleport, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Niagara Hospice in Lockport. Born July 29, 1936 in Medina, Ron is the son of the late: Kenneth and Carrie Ebeling (Allstein) Newman. Ron married Meryl A. Heidemann July 29, 1966 in Warren, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Newman died December 12, 2005. He had worked at Torres Farms in Lyndonville. He had a great love of farming and John Deere tractors. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Ron had lived in Middleport for the past 16 years, previously of Lyndonville. Loving father of: Debra Newman of Middleport, Ronald (Tina) Newman of Appleton, Robert DuBois of Newfane, Norman (Sherry) DuBois of Gasport, Gary (Lori) DuBois of Barker, Donald (Cindy) DuBois of Lyndonville, and Patricia DuBois of Rhode Island. He was predeceased by two children: Coral Newman and Gordon Newman and a stepfather, Lloyd Ebeling. Brother of: Wesley (Shirley) Newman of Knowlesville. Ron is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be no prior visitation. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Services entrusted to the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, Middleport, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Niagara Hospice.
