Rose Barnum

Obituary of Rose Barnum (Albion) Rose Zambito "Babe" Barnum age 90 died March 16, 2014 at the Villages of Orleans surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 28, 1923 in Albion, a daughter of the late Gennaro and Rosina (Scibica) Zambito and had lived in this area most of her life. Babe was a member of Holy Family Parish. She had worked for 16 years at G.E. in Brockport. She loved crocheting, cooking, jigsaw puzzles and watching old TV shows; her favorite was Mash. She was predeceased by her husband Harold; her brothers and her sister Thomas, Nellie, James, Joseph and Alphonse. She is survived by her daughters Kathleen Fenton of AZ, Patricia (Phil) McKenna of Albion, Marguerite (Dennis) Crowell of OR, Roseann (Gary) Noe of FL; her grandchildren Michele, John, Dawn, Debby, Jeffrey, Paul, Peter, Nicole, Erik; 17 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Shirley Zambito of Rochester as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion Sunday March 23rd 1-4pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00am at Holy Family Parish. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
