Obituary of Rosemary A. Bartenstein (LOCKPORT)
Rosemary A. Barenstein, age 88 formerly of Lockport, died August 7, 2010 in The Villages of Orleans following a long illness. "Rosie" was born in Lockport on June 27, 1922 to Francis and Helen(Gray)Bartenstein. She was the first person in her family to attend College. She loved nursing and went on to further her education eventually becoming a Professor of Nursing at Niagara University. She retired in 1985. Rosie was an animal lover and had a special fondness for dogs. She was seldom seen without her little "Dolly Dumplin". She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Private services and interment will be held at the family's convenience.
