Obituary of Russell Sherman Miller Kent: Russell Sherman Miller, 73, passed away peacefully at his home on April 7, 2017. Russell was born October 21, 1943 in Rochester, NY a son of the late H. Sherman and Delia (Hill) Miller. Russell was a member of the Community Fellowship Church, Ducks Unlimited and the N.R.A. He was a former employee of Eastman Kodak Co and K.B. H. Construction. Russell loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and boating. He was an excellent cook and will be remembered for his smoked meats.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; daughter, Mindy (Robert) Wright; former wife, Sandra (Brad) Perkins; step-sons, David (Laura) Klatt and James (Holly) Klatt; grandchildren, David and Abbey Wright, Amelia, Alexandra and Theodore Klatt; brothers, Richard H. (Donna) Miller, Dennis F. Miller; sister, Marjorie A. Miller; several nieces, nephews and many brothers and sisters in Christ.
The family will receive friends at the Community Fellowship Church, 3146 Johnson Creek Rd. Middleport, NY 14105 on Friday April 14, from 9:30-11:00, followed by Russell’s Celebration of Life Service at 11:00. Memorials may be made to the Church or Hospice of Orleans, P.O. Box 489 Albion, NY 14411.
