Ruth F. Seefeldt

Obituary of Ruth F. Seefeldt Ruth F. Seefeldt, age 89 of Gasport, was called to her heavenly home unexpectedly on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at ECMC. Born in Gasport, NY on June 21, 1923, she is the daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Miller) Ingersol. Ruth was a 1943 graduate of Gasport High School. She married her sweet heart, Harry J. Seefeldt, on June 26, 1943 at her parents’ home in Gasport. She was a health care provider and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Ruth was a member of the Creekside Gospel Temple located in Amherst. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Harry. She is survived by her three daughters: Barbara (Donald) Bigelow of Medina, Linda (David) Frasier of Orchard Park and Patricia (Douglas) Hinds of Gasport. Sister to: Eleanor (Herman) Munzel of Gasport and the late Marvin Ingersol and Elizabeth Laskey. Sister-in-law of: Helen Ingersol of Gasport. Grandmother to: Mary Beth (Paul) Kupiec, Paul (Diana) Miller and Shawn (Denise) Ramsey. Ruth is also survived by six great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. There will be no prior visitation. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Family and friends are invited to attend a luncheon that the family is hosting at the Shawnee Fire Department, 3747 Lockport Road, Sanborn, NY on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 12:30 pm. Arrangements entrusted to the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, Gasport, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials gifts may be made to Creekside Gospel Temple, 2625 Tonawanda Creek Road, Amherst, NY.
