Obituary of Sam D. Fauci Mr. Fauci was born December 8, 1921 in New York City, a son of Lawrence and Flavia Fauci; he had lived in this area for 62 years. He was a member of St. Mary R.C. Church in Holley and was also a member of the Holley Fire Department. Sam served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theatre and was a member of the the Jewell Buckman Post of the American Legion in Holley. Additionally, Mr. Fauci was a member of the Murray-Holley Historical Society. He had worked as a foreman at Duffy-Mott in Hamlin for 18 years and was also employed for 21 years at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, retiring from there in 1987.
