Obituary of Sandra A. Bednarz Sandra A. Bednarz, age 62, of Gasport, entered into rest on Monday, April 3, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born November 18, 1954 in Buffalo, NY Sandy is the daughter of: Robert and Maryann (Buckley) Eckam. Sandra married John Bednarz August 23, 1986. Sandra enjoyed planting flowers, reading, active in 4-H and spending time with her family. She worked at Northpointe Counsel in Lockport as a mental health counselor. She attended Zion Lutheran Church in Gasport. Surviving Sandra is her husband, John and children: Jeffery Noel, Kevin (Elizabeth) Bednarz, Nicole Bednarz (Kris Amend) and Matthew Bednarz. Daugher of: Robert (Karen) Eckam. Sister of: Pam (Craig) Maconaghy. Step sister of: Joanna Bojarski and Katherine Tallman. Grandmother of: Aubree, Weston and Kristopher. Also nephews: Craig (Amanda) Maconaghy and Josh (Rachel) Maconaghy. Sandra was predeceased by her mother, Maryann. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 7:00 pm from Zion Lutheran Church, 4447 Central Avenue, Gasport, NY with Reverend Rod Klinzing officiating.
