Obituary of Sara J. DeFilipps (Holley) Sara J. DeFilipps, 91 of Morgan St. died January 7, 2012 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Jewel Buckman Post #529 American Legion Auxiliary and the Murray-Holley Historical Society.
She was predeceased by her husband, George; she is survived by her children, Lewis (Marsha) DeFilipps of Holley, Jerry (bruce d. mcclung) DeFilipps of OH, Jane (Les) Buell of Williamson; grandchildren, Jodi (Greg) Foster, Anne (Mike) Schutz, Paul DeFilipps, James (Marie) DeFilipps, Catherine Buell, Karen (Sean) MacWilliam; 6 cherished great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Louise Lusk & Dorothy Skellen, both of Holley; brothers-in-law, Michael (Pat) DeFilipps of Holley, Edward DeFilipps of Holley, Frank Formicola of Holley, David (Mary Ellen) DeFilipps of VA.; several nieces, nephews, cousins; beloved Kitty Cat.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rte. 31, Holley, Friday from 1:00-3:00 & 6:00-8:00, where her Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 1:00pm. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans or the Murray-Holley Historical Society. Visitation
