Obituary of Sharon Lee Maida Schuck Sharon Lee Schuck, age 66, of Gasport, entered into rest on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born September 27, 1947 in Lockport, NY, Sharon is the daughter of the late Loretto and Virginia (VanEyk) Maida. Sharon married James Schuck September 6, 1974 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Lockport. They have been married for almost 40 years. Sharon and James made their home in Gasport where they raised 4 beautiful daughters. She enjoyed going to car shows with her husband and being with her family. She also enjoyed crafting, flowers gardens, fishing and puzzles. Sharon worked in records retention at Niagara Orleans BOCES until very recently. She had lived in Gasport for the past 35 years, previously of Lockport. Surviving Sharon is her loving husband: James D. Schuck, and her dear daughters: Jennifer (Gary) Dalton of Hamburg, Jaymie (Joel) Friedank of Vermont, Julie Schuck and Gaylon Andrews of Falls City, Texas and Jacqueline (Adam) Duersteler of Bethel, Vermont, and one granddaughter: Piper J. Andrews. Sharon is also survived by her brother, Thomas Maida of Lockport. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport on Sunday from 3-5 pm and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 11:00 am from All Saints Oratory (formerly St. Joseph R.C. Church, 391 Market Street, Lockport, NY). Interment will be in Huskey Cemetery, Gasport, NY.
