Obituary of Shirley Emery Albion-
Shirley Emery (Baker), 76, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Medina Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Barre, NY the daughter of the late Edith and Clarence Baker and has been a lifetime resident of the area. She was employed at Duffy Motts for 32 years until her retirement, was a member of the Medina Moose Lodge, enjoyed knitting and country music.
She was predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1984; sisters, Florence Cosmo, Marion Patience, Eileen Boardway; and best friend Rocco Santoro. She is survived by Stepchildren; Step grandchildren; brothers, Albert Baker of Albion, William (Carol Buehrer ) Baker of Ohio, Jack (Donna Brooks) Baker of Gaines; sister, Doris (Gary) Antinore of Albion; several Nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 6-8pm at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, 12 Ingersoll St., where services will be held on Saturday at 1pm, with Pastor Jack Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans.
