Ford (Kent) Heaven gained another angel on May 15, 2016… Shirley Jean (Walrath) Ford was surrounded by her loving family as she joined her parents, Mavis Parker Walrath and Levi Josiah Walrath in heaven after a long illness. She was a loving wife to Henry Deans Ford for 56 years; mother to Gerald (Lorie) Ford, Donna (Christopher Makowski) Ford, Douglas (Deborah) Ford, and Henry (Terri) Ford; grandmother to 11 and great grandmother to 12; sister/sister-in-law to the late Robert & Anne Walrath, the late Arline & Michael Rizzo, Charles & the late Alice Walrath, Reed & Carol Walrath, Joyce & the late Clair Walrath, and Norman & the late Mary Walrath, the late Ruby Ford, Harris & the late Velma Boyce, Doris & the late Roy Ford, and Florence & and the late Arnold Ford; and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion on Friday May 20th 2-4 & 7-9 where her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am.
