Shirley Frederick

Obituary of Shirley Frederick Shirley (Aschauer) Frederick, age 86, of Gasport, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, April 23, 2018. Born August 21, 1931 in Buffalo she is the daughter of the late: Henry and Felicia (Michaeljewiski) Aschauer. Shirley is a graduate of Riverside High School in Buffalo, NY. She married Duane Frederick August 5, 1950. Shirley was a long time member of Grace Baptist in Tonawanda, NY where she taught Sunday school and was very active in the Missionary Sewing Group. She is now a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Lockport. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening and reading, especially her Bible. Surviving Shirley is her loving husband: Duane; children: David (Andrea) Frederick, Jane (Daniel) Miner, Beverly (Larry) Allen and Daniel (Julie) Frederick and her sister, Betty Rice. Also surviving Shirley are her 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport, on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6 pm until 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 from Calvary Baptist Church, 405 Lincoln Avenue, Lockport, NY with Pastor Zumaeta officiating. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Calvary Baptist Church of Lockport.
