Obituary of Shirley Ann White Shirley Ann White of Middleport passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 14, 2014 at her home. Mrs. White was born in Hornell, NY on September 26, 1958 daughter of the late Lyle and Jeanne Baker and she lived most of her life in the Philadelphia area, moving to Middleport ten years ago. She was a graduate of Cornell High School and she attended Alfred University. She and her husband George D. White were married May 27, 1977. Mrs. White was a homemaker who enjoyed all of her family, crafting, being everyone's mother, collecting neck scarfs and she also enjoyed her three cats. She is survived by her husband George D. White, three children Sandra Jean Guerin of Campbell, NY., George Justin White of Middleport and Teresa Allee White of New York City; four grandchildren Claudia, Sadie, Scarlet and Sterling. Also surviving are her siblings Lyle J. Baker of Middleport, NY.,Albert Baker of Hornell, NY and Jeanne Utterback of Indiana and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Friends may call Friday from 7 PM to 9 PM and Saturday from 10AM to 11AM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport where funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM.
