Obituary of Stanley Romanowski (Albion) Stanley J. Romanowski age 59 died suddenly Wednesday October 8, 2014 at Rochester General Hospital after a short illness. He was born July 8, 1955 in Albion, a son of John and the late Rose Tiberio Smith and had lived in this area all of his life. Stan attended Albion High School where he participated in various sports. He was an avid sports fan and loved the NY Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, UNC Tar Heels and UCONN basketball teams. Stan enjoyed playing softball, bowling, tennis, horse racing and going to OTB. He worked for various construction companies including Keeler Construction and Allied Builders. He is survived by the love of his life and best friend Barbara Ames and her family; his father John (Jackie) of Albion; brothers and sisters Sharon Romanowski, Brian Romanowski, Todd London, Dean (Martha) London, Nicole (Dusty) DeCarlo; special nieces Cindy (Eric) Newlands, Dawn (Craig) Basinait; nephews Nicholas Falls, Dmitri Romanowski; great-nieces and nephews Casey, Eric James, Samantha, Kate, Isabella; special canine friends Tatiana and Bailey as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion Wednesday October 15th 5-8 where his Memorial Service will follow at 8:00pm. Interment will be at a later date in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made in his name to the organization of one's choice. Visitation
