Obituary of Stephen Charles Harrington Stephen C. Harrington, age 69, of Gasport, died suddenly, Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Born September 7, 1948 in Niagara Falls, Steve is the son of the late: William and Marjorie (Cavagnaro) Harrington. Steve served his country in the US Army from 1968 until 1974. He married Lynn Seward July 6, 1968 at St. Stephen’s R.C. Church in Middleport. They have been married for 49 years. He worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport and was a charter captain on Lake Ontario. He originated the Erie Canal Fishing Derby, which has gone on for 27 years. His goal was to get kids and their families to fish for fun and to be together doing something for enjoyment. He was awarded the 2006 Presidents Award for promoting sport fishing as a family activity from Niagara County Federation of Conservation. Stephen enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving Steve is his loving wife, Lynn and children: Dawn Flowers (Dave Storms), Brandon (Maria) Harrington; loving papa to Kyle, Stephanie and Cole; brother of: William (April) Harrington, Andy Harrington, Donald Harrington, Jeffrey (Barb) Harrington, Roy (Heidi) Harrington, Christa Williams, Kevin (Bev) Harrington, Kent Harrington, Nicky Harrington, Glenn Harrington, Shawn (Becky) Harrington and the late Mary Kay Harrington and David Harrington. Brother-in-law of: Joan Harrington, Darlene (John) Bern, Bev (Kevin) Harrington and Jeffrey Seward. Also survived by several special nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport, Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 2 pm until 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 from Hartland Bible Church at 10:00 am with the Reverend David Bern officiating. Interment will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery.
