Obituary of Steven F. Schultz (KNOWLESVILLE)
Steven F. Schultz, age 48 of Albion, died February 22, 2008 in Medina Memorial Hospital after struggling with Lou Gehrig's Disease, (ALS,) for 15 months. He was born in Buffalo, NY on July 15, 1959 to Frederick and Joyce(Thayer)Schultz and was a lifetime resident of this area. Steve was a 1978 graduate of Elba High School and worked as a paving supervisor for Keeler Construction. He was an inspiration to many of his co-workers as he continued to work for 10 months after being diagnosed with ALS. Mr. Schultz loved working construction and had years of experience attending many schools, conventions and out-of-State trainings pertaining to his field of expertise. He was a very dedicated employee and admired the company he worked for. Steve was also an avid golfer, and enjoyed flying as he had obtained his private pilot's license.
