Obituary of Susan C. Beering Horseheads, NY: Susan C. Beering, 77, passed away March 3, 2018 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. She was born September 13, 1940 in Fancher, NY, the daughter of the late Arthur and Angeline (DePalma) Nenni. Susan was a graduate of Holley High School and Rochester Business Institute. She worked for Travelers Insurance, Agway and retired from the Elmira School District. Susan had lived in Horseheads, NY for 30 years and was a member of St. Mary Our Mother Parish in Horseheads. In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by her brother, James Nenni. Susan is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Francis Beering; daughter, Laura (Matt) Roberts; grandson, Charles and beloved extended family. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion, NY on Tuesday March 6, from 4:00-8:00pm. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Wednesday March 7, at 9:30am, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church, 106 S. Main St. Albion at 10:00am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
