Obituary of Susan T. DeRoller (KENDALL) Susan T. (Preston) DeRoller, age 71, passed away peacefully April 15, 2019 with family by her side in the Wilmot Cancer Center. Sue was born in Brockport, NY July 27, 1947 to Platt and Alma (Anderson) Preston and had lived in this area her entire life. She was a member of the Kendall United Methodist Church, enjoyed the outdoors, reading novels, boating and enjoying anything near the water…especially in the 1000 Islands. She thoroughly enjoyed her 27 years as an Administrative Assistant at the Kendall Junior Senior High School and touched the lives of many students and staff until her retirement in 2010. Susan truly loved spending her free time with her family to no end, especially with three grandchildren: Emma, Ella and Tiffany. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years; Ken DeRoller, daughter: Kelly Wilting, son: Marc (Susan) DeRoller, her sister: Sheryl Vick, her grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rt. 31 (West Albion Road,)-Holley, THURSDAY APRIL 25th from 4-7 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend Susan’s Memorial Service SATURDAY APRIL 27th in the Kendall United Methodist Church, 1808 Kendall Rd., Kendall, NY, 14476 beginning at 11 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the U of R Wilmot Cancer Center, 300 E. River Rd., P.O. Box. 278996, Rochester, NY, 14627 or to the Church at the address listed previously in this notice.
