Thelma I. Newland, age 73, formerly of Thomas Estates, died 6/3/07 in the Hurlbut Nursing Home following a long illness. Mrs. Newland was born August 12, 1933 in Lockwood, MO to Thomas and Lela(Blair)Morrow and had lived in this area over 15 years. She loved to socialize with people and was considered to be somewhat of a social director at the Nursing Home.
