Obituary of Thomas B. Bringenberg, Jr. (Albion) Thomas. B. “Tom” Bringenberg, Jr. age 71 died November 2, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born March 10, 1949 in Bethlehem, PA, a son of Thomas B. and Irene (Roseman) Bringenberg, Sr. and had lived in this area for over 50 years. Tom was a U.S. Navy Seabee, having served 2 tours of duty during Vietnam. He was a member of the local V.F.W., American Legion and Holy Family Parish. Tom was a Deacon for the Buffalo Diocese and served as Chaplain at the Orleans Correctional Facility for over 20 years. He was a Boy Scout for many years, serving as Camp Director and serving on the Boy Scout Council as an executive for several years. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, doing karaoke and being a D.J. Most of all Tom loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brothers Robert and David. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Suzanne; his mother Irene; his children Elizabeth (Jerame) Weirich, Christine (Todd) Bringenberg, Thomas (Ashley) Bringenberg, III, Clancy; grandchildren Hannah, Madelyn, Lily, Hazel, Thomas, IV; brothers Richard (Esta Mae), Alan (Kelly); his sister Sharon DeFrain as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and dear friends. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion on Sunday November 8th 12:00pm-2:00pm. His Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church, 106 S. Main St., Albion NY at 10:30am. Burial will be in Pembroke National Cemetery, summer of 2021. Memorials may be made to Genesee-Orleans Ministry of Concern, 121 N. Main St. Suite 311, Albion NY 14411. Please note the Funeral Home and Church will be operating at 33% capacity per state guidelines. New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory.
