Thomas J. Zambito

Obituary of Thomas J. Zambito Albion: Thomas J. “Junior” Zambito, Jr., age 83, passed away after a short illness on March 9, 2020 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born September 9, 1936 in Albion to the late Thomas and Marion Zambito. Tom worked for 34.5 years as a Crane Operator for the NYS Dept. of Canals and was a member of the St. Mary’s Archer Club, St. Mary’s Club, Orleans County Vets Club, WNYVFA, and the Albion Fire Dept. He enjoyed his monthly casino trips with his wife and collected anything and everything he could. Tom is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Nancy, daughter, Pamela (Peter) Pilon, granddaughters, Jessica (Shaun Castle) Pilon, Mindy (Alex Marcello) Pilon, great-granddaughter, Haven Marcello, sister, Carolyn DelMonte, niece, Shelly and nephew, Scott. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Thursday, March 12th from 4:00-8:00pm where his Funeral Service will be held Friday at 10:00am. Interment will be held privately at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Albion. Memorial contributions in Tom’s name may be made to Hospice of Orleans P.O. Box 489 Albion, NY 14411, COVA 239 S.
