Tracey Ann Mapes, age 55, died unexpectedly July 11, 2024. She was born August 23, 1968 in Albion to James and Paula (Fadale) Mapes and was a life-long resident of this area.
Tracey enjoyed arts and crafts and loved to paint. She also enjoyed watching movies and videos, gardening and loved to cook. Tracey was also a very family-oriented person who absolutely adored her grandchildren and was one of those people who would help anyone at anytime if they were in need.
She is survived by her children: Charlie Nieto of Albion, Jimmy (Gretta) Mapes of Albion, Sarah (Geoff) Saxton of Albion, Emily (Josh) Hill of Medina, her brother: Timothy Mapes of Albion, and her grandchildren: Brayden Ryder, Bryce and Brynlee Saxton.
There will be no calling hours and services and interment will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: The Genesee-Orleans Ministry of Concern, 29 E. State St., Albion, NY, 14411. Tracey’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion.
