Obituary of Trish Martin Waterport: Patricia June “Trish” Martin, age 62, passed away peacefully at home unexpectedly on August 7, 2020. She was born December 5, 1957 in Buffalo to Joseph and Trudy (Morse) Mergler. Trish’s life passion was caring for others and devoted her career serving in the medical field. She enjoyed mentoring countless people as she grew in her profession. Trish is survived by her husband of 35 years, David, daughter, Trudi Christine Martin, father, Joseph (Millie) Mergler, siblings, Joann (Scotty) Burnette, Douglas (Kim) Mergler, beloved cousin, Sandra (Marc) Scicchitani-Costantino, favorite aunt, Bette Scicchitani, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Trish was predeceased by her mother, Trudy, and brother Joseph B. Mergler. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Saturday, August 15th from 2:00-5:00pm only. (Guests will be required to wear face masks when entering the funeral home). A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
