Urbine L. Bennett

Obituary of Urbine L. Bennett (KENDALL) Urbine L. Bennett, age 73, died April 10, 2021 at his residence following a short illness. He was born December 27, 1947 in Rochester and had lived in this area most of his life. Urb was a United States Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the American Legion, the VFW and the Marine Corps League. He was also a 20 year member of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department. Urb attended Concordia Lutheran Church, enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing the guitar. Mr. Bennett was predeceased by a step-son: Kevin Banker. He is survived by his wife of 15 years Sharon, his son: Adam (Heather) Bennettof AR, a step-son: Scott (Kathy) Banker of TN, daughter-in-law: Heather Bennett, 2 brothers: Clyde LeFevreof Cortland, Arbuth Bumgarner of FL, his mother: MarciaLeFevreof Cortland, 8 grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 16650 State Rt. 31-Holley, FRIDAY from 1-4 where his Memorial Service will be held immediately following at 4 pm. Please note that social distancing guidelines will be in place and the a mask or facial covering must be worn. Interment will be in West Kendall Cemetery will Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Holley VFW Post #202, 8 Veterans Drive, Holley, NY, 14470.
