Victor C. Buchalski

Victor C. Buchalski, age 59, of Gasport and formerly Niagara Falls, NY, entered into rest with his loving wife, Jenny by his side on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at the Niagara Hospice House in Lockport following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born October 22, 1965 in Niagara Falls, he was a son of the late Chester S. Buchalski and Rita (Ciurczak) Martel. Growing up in the Falls, Victor attended catholic schools and was an altar boy at Holy Trinity RC Church in Niagara Falls. He graduated from Trott Vocational High School, Class of 1983 and went on to earn a degree from Bryant & Stratton College. Victor served in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1986-1994. He was employed for many years by the City of Niagara Falls Department of Public Works in various roles. On October 19, 2013 he married the love of his life, the former Jennifer L. Sink. Victor was a person of strong faith his entire life and was currently a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Parish. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the America Legion. He was also an avid hunter, outdoorsman and belonged to the NRA. Victor was a very kind, giving and compassionate man who was always willing to help anyone in need.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Jenny Buchalski of Gasport; a son, Victor A. Buchalski; siblings, Christopher (Linda) Buchalski, Theresa (John) Tracz-King, Lorraine (late Wayne) Parker and Cindy (David) Andrews; several nieces and nephews; and honorary brothers, Steve Connelly and Shawn Thomas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, Gasport.
