Obituary of Virginia "Ginny" Collins Albion: Virginia “Ginny” Collins, 96, died May 29, 2016 at The Villages of Orleans. Ginny was born October 15, 1919 in Barre Center, NY a daughter of the late LaVant and Mattie Standish. She graduated from Oakfield High School in 1937 and had worked at J.J. Newberry for 18 years, retiring in 1981. Ginny loved cats, dogs, reading, writing and poetry. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth “Casey” Collins; daughter, Sandra Broer Reposa in 1980; brother, LaVant “Doc” (Laura) Standish; sister, Wilma Shultz; step-son, Robert Collins. Ginny is survived by her son, John “Jack” (Sandra) Broer of Albion; grandson, Scott Broer; granddaughters, Tamela Broer of CA, Valerie and Candace Reamer of CA; step-daughters, June (Rudy) Jansa of FL, Grace Ann Epstein of Rochester; step-son, Kenneth Collins Jr. of Rochester; step-daughter-in-law, Peggy Collins of Albion; step-grandchildren, Susan (Michael) Thaine of Albion, Julie (Richard) Hackman of MI; four step-great-grandchildren; dear friend, Elsie Oliver of San Angelo, TX. A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Albion Cemetery and memorials may be made to a charity of your choice
