Obituary of Virginia Prest Albion- Virginia Prest (Button), 92, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Martin-Linsin Hospice House after a brief illness. She was born in Albion, the daughter of Mary and John Button and has been a lifetime resident of the area. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, caring for others and being with her family. She was also a member of Holy Family Parish (the former St. Mary's Assumption Church). She was predeceased by her husband Howard and a son Howie "Dick". She is survived by a son, Lynn of Holley and a daughter Cheryl (Jim) Cowley of Kendall; 4 Granddaughters and 2 Grandsons; 5 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial service on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, 12 Ingersoll St., Albion at 10am with Reverend Richard Csizmar officiating. Per Virginia's wishes her body was donated to the University of Rochester as an Anatomical Gift. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans.
