Obituary of Walter Howard (ALBION)
Walter W. Howard, age 81 of Heritage Estates, died 12/17/2012 at his residence following a long illness. He was born 10/11/1931 in Albion to Henry Eugene and Hazel(Ferris)Howard and was a lifetime resident of this area. Walt was a lifetime member of the Albion Fire Department Hart Hose Company and was an original member and very active in the Albion Fireflies Tournament Team. Walter was also recognized for his work as a Retriever Trainer/Handler. Mr. Howard was predeceased by a sister: Joyce Atkinson. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Sharon, a son: W. Wright(Colleen)Howard of Albion, a brother: John(Ann)Howard of NC, sister-in-law: Gayle McCartney of CA, 5 grandsons: William, Nicholas, Jeffrey, Evan and Liam as well as several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Albion Free Methodist Church. Visitation
There are no prior calling hours Services
Family and friends are invited to attend Walt's Memorial Service THURSDAY 2 p.m. at the Albion Free Methodist Church. Interment
Will be private in Mt. Albion Cemetery
